Christie Manning is an Interior Designer and Real Estate Agent with Compass in Rye, NY.  Christie earned a BA in English from  the University of Wisconsin after which she became a Peace Corps volunteer in Ulann Baatar, Mongolia. Her two years teaching English in the Peace Corps brought travels to Russia, China and Indonesia filling her with wonderful perspectives and a unique design aesthetic. Upon returning to the states, Christie embarked on a successful sales career with 3M Company, Connaught Laboratories and Merck & Co.  After raising four wonderful children, (two girls and two boys), Christie began to seriously pursue her education in design at the New York School of Interior Design. She has completed projects from Aspen to Florida and New York to Texas.  She has a keen eye for architectural elements and spatial connectivity as well as a clean, modern interpretation of design. Having  been in Rye for over 20 years, actively involved in community and national not-for-profit boards, Christie made the decision to obtain her Real estate license and joined the Kim Arenas Team at Compass in 2020.  Blending her love of architecture, competitive sales background and design expertise, Christie is focused on providing a wholistic approach to the Real Estate  experience.
